Alternative polyadenylation (APA) exerts profound effects on essential biological functions, from gene regulation to cellular behavior, influencing both normal physiology and disease states. My focus lies in investigating APA dynamics in neurodegenerative diseases, aiming to identify APA-based biomarkers and elucidate underlying disease mechanisms.
I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a major in Medicine, Health, and Society. Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking and trying out new restaurants.
